Environmental Contests!
VALUABLE PRIZES AWARDED!
Every year thousands of tons of waste products are created by our local community and put into landfills. If we all become more aware of our personal responsibility to help reduce our consumption and waste, we can help create a more sustainable future. One way to start reducing waste is to be resourceful in using what we already have as opposed to buying new. Learning to be aware of the natural environment and its bounty of natural materials that can be respectfully used and returned to the earth allows us an opportunity to use biodegradable and safe products instead of man made plastics, metals, dyes and chemicals, etc. In an effort to bring awareness to our cultural habit of consumption and waste, we offer the following categories of contests. Common Field is partnering with local businesses to encourage participation in these environmental contests by offering prizes for the winners of each category.
